Set a client (or one person) to no email and they get nothing from Cloudbase: not the automatic updates, not your replies, not estimate notices. Their tickets take private notes only, so a salary contact can't be emailed by accident. The setting is called Email from Cloudbase, is a real on/off switch on the client page, and shows whether or not Ground Control is on. On a contact's page it reads Same as the client / Always / Never, with Change it for all of … opening the client's switch in a pop-up so you never leave the page.
A boarding flight you're not going to fly now has Scrub this flight at the bottom of its right column. Anything aboard goes back to the Hangar with its ticket links intact, the flight disappears from Departures, and nobody is told — nothing shipped. A landed flight can't be scrubbed.
The Projects page has a Views button, like Time, Mileage, Tickets and Meetings. Save a way of looking at your projects: filter by client, status, archived, billable or how many tasks are open, and group by client or status. Two are ready to go — live projects by client, and by status. Like every view, they show everything regardless of the mode you're in.
Click a step's name inside a task and type; it saves when you leave the field or press Enter.
Put a private note on the wrong ticket? Hover it and choose Delete. Only your own private notes can go; replies they've seen and the ticket's history stay put.
The top of every ticket is now one band: whose move it is, and the one thing to do about it right beside it. On a sorted ticket that's the closing line and Reopen it (it used to sit five blocks down the side, easy to miss), with a few seconds to Undo. The history folds so a long ticket reads at a glance — every note to its first line (the newest marked Latest), a run of status changes into one line like “5 moves — waiting on Ravi, Dave, then back on you,” and Open all / Fold all when you want everything. Empty Notes, Meetings and Mileage blocks step aside for one quiet Add to it line. Reopening also keeps the old closing line in the thread now.
Removing a file, deleting a meeting, trip, contact, time entry or project, resetting the sidebar and the rest now ask in Cloudbase's own dialog instead of the browser's grey "cloudbase.day says" box. Applying a checklist template to a list that already has items now names both choices — Add after them or Use it instead — and clicking away does neither.
Clicking a task's name on Today, the Cockpit or the Inbox now opens its panel right there, name ready to edit (the Cockpit used to send you to the whole project). Ticket checklist items get a Rename in their ⋮ menu, and on the phone you can tap a task's name on a project or in the Inbox to rename it.
Reloading the page used to lose everything you'd queued, because Spotify drops a queue when the player holding it goes away. Cloudbase now remembers what it queued: open Up next after a reload and Bring them back queues them again, in order (anything that already played is let go). Queuing right after a reload also works now, instead of quietly doing nothing.
Copying text from a Word document (or Outlook, or Pages) into a note pasted a picture of the text instead. Now you get the text; pasting a real screenshot still drops the image in.
The What they said box on a new ticket opened one line tall. It now gives you room for their words, and still grows as you paste.
On a ticket that isn't on a project yet, Start a timer used to vanish without a word. It now stays put and says Put it on a project first — click it and the project picker opens (time always lands on a project, which is how it adds up in Time and on invoices).
Apps, clients, contacts and projects now sort alphabetically, ignoring capitals, in every picker and list (the app list used to keep the order you added them in, and the Projects page was in the order you made them).
On an airframe's Set up page, every panel's checkbox now sits on the same left edge, and names like "The Hangar" no longer wrap onto two lines.
A ticket raised against an app now takes the client of the app's airframe, so it groups under that client in the queue and shows in your Work mode (it used to read as Personal and vanish). Change an airframe's client and its tickets follow; a ticket on a project still goes by the project's client. Apps your tickets name that have no airframe yet are offered on the Airframes page — one click gives each a home, for the right client — and a mode with no airframes in it now says so instead of offering to add your first.
On a project with phases as tabs or pages, adding a task, saving one, starting a timer or ticking a step brought you back to the first phase every time. Now you stay on the phase you were working in, and your scroll position holds too.
If you leave Cloudbase open while a new version goes out, your next click now brings the whole page up to date, instead of quietly running the old version alongside the new one.

⟩ Write to AaronThis is the short version of the site, cut down to what reads well on a small screen. The full thing — every instrument explained, the pricing configurator, the whole story — lives on the desktop site. So does the app: Cloudbase is meant to be worked from a real screen, at a desk, with your hands on it.
