@CallsignBetaCalls
Ask for a call · comes with the full app

For when email isn't getting you there.

People ask for a call from your page. They offer up to three times from the hours you keep open. You say yes to one, and it becomes a room on both calendars. Nobody books your week out from under you.

Ask Aaron for a call
@aaron

If email isn't getting us there, let's talk. Pick up to three times that work for you. Nothing's on either calendar until I say yes.

Both sides of one call

They offer. You choose. The room makes itself.

Pick times above and watch them land on the right, in the Callsign room under Calls asked for. Saying yes sends the link and puts a Formation room on both calendars.

  1. 01
    They ask from your page

Ask for a call sits beside Write to me. They pick a kind, like a 20-minute intro, and say what email didn't cover. That part is required.

  2. 02
They offer up to three times

Only from the hours you keep open, after your limits, your days off and your busy calendar. Picked times are held for a week so nobody else takes them.

  3. 03
    You say yes to one

Or suggest another, write back instead, or pass. Yes makes the Formation room and sends it to both of you with a calendar invite.

Your hours, your limits

You decide when you're askable.

Open hours per weekday, a gap between calls, the shortest notice, how far ahead, and a cap on calls a day. Days off say why on your page. If you keep a calendar elsewhere, I read its busy times and nothing else.

What it isn't

Not a booking link. Your week stays yours.

No booking link

Nobody drops onto your calendar. Every call is a yes you gave.

Never your lunch

Lunch and the timed parts of your day are never offered, even inside open hours.

No reminder spam

One email when you say yes, with the room and an invite. That’s all either of you gets.

No counts

No "calls this week", no response-time score, no stats on who asked.

Nothing on a calendar until yes

Theirs or yours. Asking holds the times; it doesn’t book them.

Email still comes first

The page says it plainly: if email gets you there, use email. Calls are for when it doesn’t.

Straight answers · the transcript

You ask, I answer.

YouDo people need an account to ask?
Aaron

No. A name, an email, and what email didn’t cover.

YouCan they just book a time?
Aaron

No. They ask; you answer. That’s the whole design.

YouWhat if none of their times work?
Aaron

Suggest another, or write back instead. Their times stop being held once you answer.

YouDoes it read my other calendar?
Aaron

If you give it a calendar feed, it reads when you’re busy and nothing else. I never see what the busy blocks are.

YouWhere does the call happen?
Aaron

In a Formation room: a link, no app to install, and notes you can keep.

YouI’m on the free Callsign. Do I lose anything if I don’t add the app?
Aaron

No. Your page stays free and stays yours. Calls are the one big thing that comes with the full app.

Let people ask. Say yes when it's worth it.

Your Callsign page stays free either way. Calls come with the full app.
