2026-10-03 — publish to Scribbles + a faster way to start writing
New
new — Publish to a Scribbles blog. Add a Scribbles destination under
Settings → Destinations (paste your API key, pick which blog), then pick it in the
publish dialog like any other. New posts land as a draft by default, so you can
finish and publish them inside Scribbles; a footer linking back to the canonical
version of the piece is added automatically. Republishing updates the post's content
without flipping a draft you've already published, and unpublishing moves it back to
draft.
new — "Write" — one click to a blank page. A new ✎ button (to the left of the
menu, and inside it) drops you straight into a fresh, empty Confluence from anywhere in
the app — no starting from a Star, no picking a space first. Pull Stars in as you write
if you want; organize it later, or not.
Improved
improved — Your Scribbles API key is encrypted at rest. The key you paste is
stored encrypted and never shown again or returned by the app — the first of Endpaper's
stored secrets to get this treatment.
improved — A "What's new" link now sits at the bottom of Settings, so the
release notes are one click away.
